Quito, March 03, 2023 - In recent days, Imptek del Ecuador - an expert company in asphalts for roads and waterproofing - received a visit from 80 officials of the Metropolitan Public Company of Mobility and Public Works (EPMMOP) and the Comptroller General of the State. The purpose of this meeting was to create a space for dialogue, training and awareness of the existing offer of environmentally friendly road products, such as emulsions and modified asphalts for the construction of roads and highways.
With a visit to the plant and the Imptek Materials Research and Training Center (CIMI) laboratory, the specialists gave a practical demonstration of the difference between refinery asphalt (AC-20) and polymerized asphalt. Thus demonstrating Imptekvial's innovations to build roads of excellent quality, environmentally friendly and long lasting.
In this way, Imptek ratifies its commitment to offer qualified products to build a more sustainable world, being pioneers in the use of asphalt emulsions since 1993.
Participants learned firsthand the differences, advantages and benefits of using slow breaking asphalt emulsions and polymerized asphalt emulsions as an effective alternative for road construction. The important economic development of the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas demands more resistant and durable roads to promote the progress of this area located in the arterial heart of our country. During the visit to the laboratory, the authorities were able to see the technology, rigorous design processes and quality with which the company has been operating for this sector of the industry for more than 43 years.
