Quito, July 2026. Reducing construction time, optimizing the use of resources, and moving toward more sustainable buildings were among the topics addressed by Saint-Gobain Imptek during the 14th International Construction Congress (CAMICON 2026), where the company highlighted the potential of lightweight construction and dry construction as a response to the new challenges facing the industry in Ecuador and around the world. At the event, the company also announced the addition of the PLACO brand to its portfolio for the Ecuadorian market.

He explained that these solutions can reduce construction time by up to 52% and cut construction waste by nearly 50%, in addition to providing better thermal and acoustic insulation, which promotes energy efficiency and user well-being.
Through its participation in these types of technical forums, Saint-Gobain Imptek reaffirms its commitment to knowledge transfer and the promotion of high-performance construction solutions, contributing to the development of a more efficient, sustainable, and innovative industry that is prepared to meet the sector’s current and future challenges.
