Construction sector actors handing over the renovated UPC La Mariscal to support citizen security
Quito, July 2023. Representatives of the construction sector made the official handover of the remodeling of the Community Police Unit La Mariscal. Imptek, as an expert in waterproofing, contributed with the protection of the infrastructure of the UPC to extend the useful life of the building, cooperating with the police service.
It took a month to readjust the entire UPC, led by the Constructores Positivos group, where the electrical and sanitary system, change of faucets, lighting and painting were all completely repaired. Sebastián Prado, Imptek's technical manager, pointed out that a laminar waterproofing system was installed on the roof and the upper and lower perimeter of the building to prevent water infiltration and guarantee a useful life of 15 years".
