Sustainability and Social Responsibility
Aligned with our organizational purpose: "TAKE CARE OF OUR HOME", at IMPTEK we are committed to sustainability, which is a central axis of our long-term strategy. This strategy ensures care for the environment, promotes social responsibility and maintains business profitability.
Carbon Footprint
Since 2020, Imptek has been quantifying our carbon footprint, and we have the goal of becoming Zero Carbon by 2050. This commitment has some initiatives such as our subscription to the program of the Ministry of Environment PECC.
Clean Energy
In our Imptek plant, we have 1000 solar panels installed in the industrial building, which generates 770,000 kWh each year, allowing us to meet 92% of the annual internal demand and reduce our carbon footprint by 333 tons of CO2.
Research and development
At CIMI we develop products based on recycled and environmentally friendly materials. We are pioneers in the development of water-based asphalt emulsions for road construction and we have low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) products for waterproofing solutions.
Circular economy
Our raw material is a remnant of the oil refining process and with it we develop most of our products, in this way we reuse materials to create valuable products, in addition we support the Caminos de Vida Foundation by delivering pallets with which they make different wood-based products.
Support for sports, art and education
In Imptek we care about taking care of everyone's home and we promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle, for this reason since 2010 we support high-level athletes, art and education; in an inclusive way we support projects of men, women and people with disabilities that demonstrate our mission of "Being the best".
Siembraton
Since 2022, Imptek joins the Siembraton initiative, planting more than 1000 trees annually in ecological reserves to give more lungs to the planet. See the progress we have made with this initiative.
